ArcRelay Privacy guide

Choose window masks for apps such as chat or mail and check the actual shared view before presenting your work.

Updated

Current functionality is provided through ArcRelay Suite. Standalone distribution is still being validated; no separate download is promised.

Your task

Choose window masks for apps such as chat or mail and check the actual shared view before presenting your work.

Before you begin

Window masking is not encryption or screen locking and cannot cover every capture method. Linux lacks equivalent native protection.

1. Choose protected apps and a mask style

Select apps in presentation privacy and choose a frosted or solid mask.

2. Enable protection and optional remote switching

Enable protection through the feature page or tray; allow remote switching only when needed.

3. Verify the view in your actual meeting or recording tool

Check the audience view in your actual meeting or recording tool before relying on a mask for sensitive information.

Check the result

  1. Check the actual result in the interface; sending a request is not completion.
  2. Turn off the feature or revoke its permissions when no longer needed.
