ArcRelay Mouse guide

Move between computers without swapping keyboards, or use a phone trackpad for a quick input task away from your desk.

Updated

Current functionality is provided through ArcRelay Suite. Standalone distribution is still being validated; no separate download is promised.

Your task

Move between computers without swapping keyboards, or use a phone trackpad for a quick input task away from your desk.

Before you begin

macOS needs Accessibility access; phone remote input does not support Linux yet. Input sharing does not stream a remote desktop.

1. Arrange displays to match your desk

Arrange displays in cross-screen input; size, scaling and rotation affect handoff regions.

2. Pair devices and grant input access

Verify identity, grant input access and complete the target computer’s system input permissions.

3. Move across the screen edge; release control when needed

Cross a neighboring edge to switch computers. Command/Ctrl + Alt + Shift + M releases control and centers the local pointer.

Check the result

  1. Check the actual result in the interface; sending a request is not completion.
  2. Turn off the feature or revoke its permissions when no longer needed.
