Your task
Run ordered actions after a device connects, a file arrives or a scheduled time, with explicit conditions and visible step results.
Before you begin
Steps run in order and stop on failure. Dangerous actions retain local confirmation; interrupted runs are not replayed after restart, and triggers vary by platform.
1. Choose a trigger and required conditions
Choose a trigger in the current Automation page; all configured conditions must match.
2. Add actions, waits or notifications
Add quick actions, Shell, waits and notifications in order; use only commands you understand.
3. Choose confirmation behavior and inspect activity
Choose automatic or ask-before-running behavior, run manually and inspect activity. Dangerous actions still require local confirmation.
Check the result
- Check the actual result in the interface; sending a request is not completion.
- Turn off the feature or revoke its permissions when no longer needed.
